…me. Taken by the very talented Christina Ahlheim of Charisma Photo. Christina spent a whole day photographing my family, and I am so excited to share the rest of the photos with you as soon as they are ready. The umbrella used in this photo was a vintage find by Christina, and it matches my dress perfectly, though you can’t really tell from this pic. I will say that the whole day was a blast, though I was exhausted when it was over. And all I did was hold an umbrella.

…was so much fun! I am really impressed with how organized the event was — Brea and Katie are awesome.
The venue was perfect, and I was able to get some experience setting up a display for my stationery! Certainly not the easiest thing to do, as I had a hard time deciding how to showcase each item so that people did not have to flip through a book to see the designs. I really hate having people flip through a book, I want them to be able to touch the paper…anyway, here are some photos!

…at a pretty new bridal shower invitation, though I think this one has the possibilities of making a great wedding invite!

Yup, I am now 30 years old.
I sure don’t feel it, but it does sting a little to say it.
On Saturday, my husband surprised me with a party that included all of my friends and family, presents, a beautiful cake, and unfortunatly, a video. The video was composed of embarrassing photographs (of course) and played on a loop the whole time…thank goodness cell phones and digital cameras were not abundant in the 80’s, as I am sure there would have been way more pictures to choose from.
Since it is my birthday, and I am my own boss, I am taking the day off to do whatever I feel like. Which will probably be a whole lot of nothing, but I feel I owe it to myself not to be glued to my computer. I am turning off the email on my iPhone as well, since I have an addiciton to checking it every 3 minutes.

This Passport is beautiful and one of my favorites!
The bride came up with the vintage tropical flowers and hummingbird theme, and we brought it to life with tropical pinks, oranges and greens. This Passport is printed on an ivory metallic cardstock and the bride even had custom stamps made!

The ones shown are for New York, Nashville, Oak Park and Rhode Island, but of course they can be customized to reflect your venue!

-WOW! I am so impressed with our wedding invitations and the service from Beyond Design. Ginger’s creativity added pizzazz to our wedding invitations! We keep getting amazing feedback and comments on how professional and creative they look. Everything exceeded my expectations! THANK YOU! Ginger from Beyond Design was so easy to work with, flexible, accomodating, positive, (I can’t say enough good things!!!)Working with Ginger was a PLEASURE, and the final product is FABULOUS!!! I am so excited HIGHLY recommend Beyond Design!
-Ginger is absolutely amazing!! My fiance and I couldn’t be more delighted about our passport invitations. The theme of our wedding is vintage and Ginger hit the nail on the head with colors and scrolling that she incorporated seemlessly into passport format! Our guests have begun to receive them and the responses are so complimentary. Not only are the invitations fantastically made (of great quality paper and Ginger’s care!), but the customer service is impecable. Ginger led us through the whole process, made changes super fast, and shipped the final product with the utmost of care. Beyonddesign is creative, detail oriented, and customer service minded. I’d refer anyone to beyonddesign in a nano-second! Thank you Ginger!! (I will try to post a pic of our invites soon so show all the superb quality!)
-The proof we got for our wedding invitation is absolutely beautiful. The pictures don’t do justice, they look even better in person. Ginger is great to work with, she’s so sweet and a talented artist. I can’t wait to send out the invites to our guests!
-Ginger, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with our wedding invitations! You were so professional and great dealing with me and my many changes =)
They are beautiful! I can’t wait to get them in the mail and hear what all our friends and family have to say about them… They are so different than any wedding invitation I have ever gotten and I know everyone will be very excited for our destination wedding when they receive these!
Thank you again!
Carrie
-THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!
I have to admit I was a little nervous having someone so far away doing my invitations. Although I was unable to contact Ginger personally, her emails ALWAYS calmed my nerves! She is a FANTASTIC artist & WONDERFUL to work with. She answered my emails quickly, regardless on how silly or bridezillish they seemed. These invitations are so unique and are a great asset if you are planning a destination wedding!
Thank you again Ginger, your work is truely appreciated ~ Tanya & JJ
